Sociological research examining the experiences of women mathematicians in Chile through a gender lens. This study analyzed career trajectories, institutional barriers, and hierarchies within Chilean mathematical academia using interviews and biographical accounts. The project examined how gender performativity influences academic careers in mathematics, thereby contributing to our understanding of women's participation in STEM fields and informing policy development aimed at achieving greater gender equity in academia.
